Responsibilities

* will be dedicated to advancing the state-of-the-art in search technology and delivering a more intelligent and powerful search experience to users in China and around the world
* will deliver innovative products and services, accelerate innovations by seamlessly combining research and development and evolve Search platform into an Internet Service platform for the next generation of Internet research and development
* will be part of one of the most versatile, challenging, and fascinating research and development environments in the IT industry
* will lead a small team of developers to work on Web search related technologies
* will provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, drive cross team collaborations, hands-on design and implementation, and drive complex and ambiguous issues to closure


Qualifications

* must be results driven and have strong technical background and excellent problem solving skills
* must have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in and shipping software products with a least two years experience as a development lead managing a team through a product development and release cycle
* must have strong communication and team work skills
* knowledge and experiences in machine learning, information retrieval, data mining, and distributed systems are a plus
* a BS or MS in Computer Science or related field is required
* Chinese language skill is a plus
